Lydgate Junior school is to be awarded the Silver Rights Respecting School Award by UNICEF UK.

We are proud to be able to confirm that following our accreditation with the assessor we will be awarded our SILVER Award.  Many thanks to everyone who helped and congratulations to the children, especially those who spoke to the assessor on Monday.  They were BRILLIANT!

This week we are celebrating and exploring Gypsy, Roma and Traveller life through the lens of Article 2 - non-discrimination, Article 8 - identity and Article 30 - minority culture and religion.

Foster Care Fortnight is the 10 to 23 May and 15 May is the International Day of Families, making this week a great time to explore the roles of parents, carers and families.
